Kelly Clarkson surprised fans with her weight loss — and naturally, everyone wanted to know how she did it.
On The Kelly Clarkson Show, she confirmed she’s using a doctor-prescribed medication — but made it clear it’s not Ozempic.
She said her blood work had gotten “so bad,” and after being prediabetic and dealing with thyroid issues, she finally decided to listen to her doctor.
Clarkson shared that the medication helps her body process sugar properly — something she said her body wasn’t doing well on its own.
Her move to New York City also played a role. She walks a lot more now and calls it “quite the workout.”
She isn’t following extreme diets. Instead, she focuses on balanced meals, a protein-rich approach, and still enjoys treats in moderation.
Most importantly, Kelly says she wasn’t unhappy before. Her weight loss wasn’t about insecurity — it was about improving her health and feeling better long term.
